2008 Summer Schedule
The precise details of our summer concert schedules are always highly tentative, and remain so at all times, due especially to the weather. Much of our equipment, including our printed music, cannot necessarily survive exposure to rain, so occasionally concerts must be canceled or even stopped "in progress". And, if a concert is canceled, we sometimes arrange to perform that same concert later in the season.
Here, then, is a tentative list of our 2008 Sunday evening concerts and their conductors:
June 8 (Teddy Bears' Picnic) -- Arnie Anderson
June 15 -- Carmen Lachnitt
June 22 -- Jim Priebe
June 29 -- Ron Coberly
July 6 -- Mike Lachnitt
July 13 -- Marcia Korb/Carmen Lachnitt
July 20 -- Ted Francis
July 27 -- Derrick Murphy
August 3 -- Mark Eveleth
August 10 -- "Round Robin" and/or previously "rained out" concert
The Burlington Municipal Band will also perform in the Steamboat Days Parade on Saturday, June 14 (and possibly other as-yet-unscheduled events).
